Online Proctor for CISSP due to Covid 19

I am almost ready to write the CISSP exam. My challenge is that I am based in South Africa & yesterday our government announced a 21 day lockdown to try "flatten the Covid 19 infection curve". Question is are there any plans from ISC2 to allow for online proctors to monitor an online CISSP examination? I have checked with Pearson vue and SA is not listed as we use 3rd party testing centers.

ISC2 has made the decision not to follow the industry and to be surpassed by ISACA, CompTIA, AWS, and CISCO who all offer this. The majority of jobs these days ask for the CISM or CISSP anyway.

Yeah sad to see the ISC flat earth society in full force. This will hurt
the credential in the long run. I dont know where this nativity is coming
from but anyways CISM it is then. CISM will overtake the CISSP for sure at
this rate

Give me a break...Why would this hurt them in the long run? You read the statement, they didn't say it would NEVER happen?

I think losing the ANSI certification and integrity of their certification would hurt them in the long run more so than not offering remote testing for inpatient people.

Are you saying ISACA will lose ANSI for the CISM? Want to make a bet?

EC council is ansi accredited as well are they not ? Is Isaca not
accredited?

The argument holds no water.

(ISC)² does recognize that the earth is a globe [reference].

My take is they are betting on different horses.  CISM apparently prioritizes membership growth; (ISC)²'s statement makes it clear they are betting on exam integrity.

CISM would be your safer bet given your prediction of CISSP becoming irrelevant.  I am already saddled up, so I will not be changing horses unless/until your prediction bears fruit.

I am not going to risk my health for a certification but clearly pandering
to arcanic myths and fake news about remote proctored exams somehow being a
9/11 style apocalyptic event is a thing on these forums. I am yet to see
concrete evidence that remote proctored exams is indeed this doomsday
event. Alas the community of flat earthers love to throw around little
factoids which is nothing more than personal views wrapped in some rather
degraded pseudo intellectual context. Which has no basis reason. Those that
support remote exams just ask for facts of this supposed heresy (insert
long pause with cricket noise)

Isaca is geared towards its community and is trying to accommodate those
affected by this pandemic.
