At the moment, the ISC2 Powers-That-Be are taking a bit of a beating over a) the systems upgrade, and b) the huge support problems created.
So, I would like to note that, because I "subscribe" to pretty much everything, I do get various pieces of "spam" that people try to post on the "community." And that, when I went to check on one piece that I noted this morning (that someone had tried to kind of bury with some verbiage), the moderators had, within hours, killed it.
So, @Samantha_O , @amandavanceISC2 , @Kaity , and whoever I've missed, take a bow ...
I do believe that they had some help. But, unfortunately, with the "archival" of the original post, @denbesten 's suggestion got lost as well. In the upper right hand corner of every post are three dots, which gives you a drop down menu. The last item on that menu should always be "Report Inappropriate Content," and you can help the moderators do their job in that way.

I think you mean @SamanthaO_isc2!
I would like to second @rslade's commendation.
The ladies who manage, administer and moderate the Community do a fine job.
We know these are difficult times due to the ongoing issues associated with the DETE project, and, yes, many of us do like to give ISC2 plenty of stick for the current state of things.
However, through all of this, these ladies have always been extremely courteous, professional, and, above all, helpful, and I can't thank them enough for helping me out numerous times.
Thank you, ladies!

Perhaps they are already bowing under the weight of the support queries.
Speaking seriously, we're all appreciative of the efforts they've been putting in here, though it shouldn't have had to be that way.
They say 'Don't hate the player, hate the game.'
In this case, we can replace 'player' with 'referee' since we're talking about the moderators. The rules of the game were recently changed by the BOD, so there's little moderators can do to affect that, but they've been doing a lot nonetheless to assist us, the players...
... and I note another spam that they've pulled quick smart ...

Ah, this is so sweet. Thank you!
I agree.
I've not (as far as I can recall), complained about the moderators or those that run the forum (Well, maybe once), and I agree that it's not their fault that things simply have not been going straight.
There are many stages in making a community work, or a web site run the way it should (aimed at the user, not the producer), and things have been getting better in many aspects, a lot due to the time put in by the moderators and the community manager.
So, to keep things positive. Thank you 🙂
I've noticed that the moderators' job, in terms of spam, is getting harder, but they are still quick off the mark in getting rid of it. So, thank you and good job.

I'd earlier suggested that moderators initially notify users, later send warnings, and finally restrict the ability to post --- if that's being followed, it might take a while.
