Security Podcasts

What are your favorite sources of industry news?

I like the CyberWire podcast - available on all the major podcast feeds.  Others that are good?

So many good Security Podcasts out there, just not enough hours in the day to listen to them all.

I'm gonna suggest a couple of more conversational ones..

https://cybersecurityinterviews.com/

https://www.garymcgraw.com/technology/silver-bullet-podcast/

http://chrissanders.org/podcast/

And also Malicious Life, which is a bit of a Security History lesson in cyber crime.

My favourite Podcast, "reply all", isn't always security related..

https://gimletmedia.com/reply-all/

...however, for anyone whose job it is to talk to non-technical people about Security, it's a reveation.

Check out episode #97 to start with.

Ditto on Paul's Security Weekly and SANS Internet Storm Center

The Art of Charm is also a good one.

I compiled what everyone said into this list so you could just copy from one place.

Here is a big list of recommended ones:

I'm Podcast newcomer, but also a newly joined co-host to a podcast currently named "Dave the IT guy".

We just recently did a podcast with the changing format and is available wherever you obtain your podcasts, under the current name "Dave the IT guy".

This podcast name will change in the near future. The aim of out podcast is to discuss current events/happenings/news in cybersecurity as well as plans to interview folks in the industry such as vendors/SMEs/trailblazers. One of the focal points is to provide a source of 1 CPE in multiple domains of the CISSP.

As someone who has used podcasts to claim CPEs in the past, I also want to add the aspect of in the podcast notes, to map the CISSP domains to each podcast's subject matter so that some of the legwork is done when submitting this info (I thought it would be handy, look for it in the future).

Admittedly,

The most recent show, my mic sound quality was not great (technical difficulties) but this will improve moving forward.

There will be alot of good content on the way!

I forgot to add, the podcast drops every Thursday evening after 10pm est (usually ready for consumption by 10:15 est).

The current schedule is Every thursday 9-10pm est and will soon be available live via spreaker (I can provide details if you inquire) so we will always welcome listener interactions too.

Every wednesday following the previous week, the podcast will be aired on 700 WLW AM – IHeartRadio Cincinnati
