Two years ago (actually, Oct 9, 2017), (ISC)² launched this community. Happy Birthday. Looking forward to another anniversary badge!
The Community was not intended to replace CISSPforum but 6 months later that changed and CISSPforum met its demise on Jun 15, 2018. There was lots of angst and grief. There was even a rebellion fork, which exists to this day at 246 members strong (please join us).
Today, we mark another life-event. CISSPforum was hosted on Yahoo Groups. Yesterday, Yahoo announced that Yahoo Groups would become read-only in two weeks and will be shut completely down in 2 months, Had (ISC)² not moved to Lithium (now Khoros) in 2018, they would be doing so today.

I actually got one:

Actually, the "shutdown" of Yahoo Groups has been somewhat overblown. It is true that most of the Web-based functions of Yahoo Groups, including archives of past discussions, are going away fairly soon. However, the actual operation of the mailing lists, as mailing lists, will continue. (As one of the mods of the CISSPforum, I'm being deluged by postings from the groups.io Group Managers Forum by newcomers wanting to transfer from Yahoo ...)
