I was taking a look at my profile to ensure that everything's consistent, and noticed that I've earned the ISC2 2019 Congress Ambassador badge.

So far as I know, I don't sleepwalk --- but even if I do it I doubt I'd have made it from Saudi Arabia to the USA without waking up.

If this badge is awarded simply for wishing I was there, I'll accept it, but it requires having been present there then I'm not eligible.

@Kaity, please do the needful; the badge appears to have been given to 4 others as well --- so I hope it wasn't the same case. If this was some kind of system error please escalate it to the developers. Thanks.

when I go to my profile, View all badges,

I see it when scrolling down to the bottom row, which has three badges:

Star Wars Day 2019, July 2019!, and 2019 Congress Ambassador.

What is a Congress Ambassador?  Just curious.

Our Congress ambassadors were attendees who had been volunteers in the past. Sort of like "super volunteers" for this year. They promoted the event beforehand and had some extra responsibilities on site with the event. 

They were @Lisav821 @jshaneadams @Retlaw @Brandon_Leiker and @dplude. There were more, but they're not Community members ... so no badges. 

I'm still not seeing the Ambassador badge on any other accounts than these five, but we'll look into it. And fix that darn typo.

I think the badge was for mentioning, here, the Congress during a certain period. I
got one as well.

OK, this is getting interesting  🙂

I got the Congress Ambassador badge.  It was on my list of badges last week:

But today, when I went to look, it had disappeared!

I am, of course, heartbroken.  And confused.  What other badges might have disappeared when I wasn't watching?

Wait, it might be even worse than that?  What if my kudoes are disappearing?
