OK, over in the "Welcome" discussion I wanted to add to the "Can I opt out of kudos and badges?" topic, and I couldn't.  No reply buttons.  Anywhere.

And, in fact, over in the "Welcome" discussion you can't even create a new topic.

I just looked at the Welcome area, to find the Create New Post button greyed (grayed?) out, and all threads locked.

I suspect that the major reorg of the Community that began recently includes retiring that forum.
