For some reason, on the Johns Hopkins CoVID-19 dashboard, Canada, as a country, has disappeared. (If you switch to the province/state/dependency mode, the individual provinces with infections still show up.)

A number of people have reported receiving unsolicited packages of seeds with markings or labels in Chinese.

(I understand that the latest theory about these things is that the vendor is engaged in a practice called "brushing," where the vendor creates fake positive reviews of their product, but requires "real" customers in order to do so. The vendor is "creating" customers by sending packages to random-but-real people. The vendor, in this case, may be selling jewelry, and the packages may contain seeds because a) seeds are cheaper, and b) seeds are lighter to mail.)
One of the reasons that there is so much misinformation during the pandemic crisis is that people are a) generally fairly ignorant about medical matters, and b) scared enough to believe anything.
