OK, *now* we're in trouble ...

For some reason, on the Johns Hopkins CoVID-19 dashboard, Canada, as a country, has disappeared.  (If you switch to the province/state/dependency mode, the individual provinces with infections still show up.)

This is disturbing, for someone who lives there ...

The pandemic (although not the virus) is causing hair loss?

The weekend always seems to be "Covidiot's Shopping Day."  I mean, I can see some reasons why.  People who are still in some workplace situation have to do their shopping on the weekend, and won't be as familiar with the new rules of shopping etiquette.  The trouble with that explanation is that a) people who are in a workplace situation during the week will have some new rules of their own and should be able to figure out fairly simple rules like "no crowding" and one-way aisles, and b) the "new rules" are now five months old.

Same with people who are all huddled up in isolation during the week.  Even if they only go out on the weekends, they've had five months to get used to the new rules, and they've also had five months to figure out that stores are a lot more crowded on the weekends.  I suppose that some people, like sharks, simply cannot learn anything new.

OK, this might be quite necessary for your continued good health.  A scientific study has determined that watching cute animals is good for your health.

@rsladeYou have to be kidding, what happens if the same critter bites you and you have to undergo Rabies jabs for a number of weeks?  Then where is the happiness?  The blood pressure will definitely go up.

Then you might then find that the critters could be carriers as well - then where is your happiness.

Or this a plan to undermine your commonsense, make you vulnerable to all sorts of suggestions and lower your defenses?

Perhaps the Scientists objectivity should be questioned, interrogated and examined - to me the Medieval Rack sounds like a good method of extracting the real truth.

Nice suggestion, but watch out for traps and malicious humans with evil intent.

You want information about the animal, and assurance that the information is accurate. Darn, weren't you listening, We moved from information assurance to cybersecurity years ago.

@CraginSAlthough Cybersecurity is a relatively newcomer, we should always carryout a cybersecurity assurance check?  For validation purposes - what is the old term "Trust but Verify" which as we know is just part of the Zero Trust Security cultural change away from traditional methods.

Example, as the Australian Government have done with their new authentication device, they have put out a tender for MyGovID solution to validate whether or not the subject submitting their response is actually alive or not.  This could prove very interesting indeed.   Because they have had issues with validating whether the claim came from an actual living entity or not.

I can honestly say that, in all the time that I have spent watching videos of cute
animals, I have never been bitten, and never had to get rabies shots.
