Hi All
Quantum crypto-readiness has been elevated in its importance and it is our responsibility to make sure that our CISOs, CIOs, CEOs and boards are given the correct information, so we can make better decisions and invest in the right places. Quantum crypto-readiness means that one team will embark on a process to select the cryptographic algorithm to be used, liaise with vendors to establish their readiness, update its strategy and policies and develop a crypto bill of materials. Another group will focus on managing the certificates that used using automation and governance. This focus on managing certificates and the machine identities that it represents needs governance and lifecycle management regardless of the algorithm. Quantum is not the only risk to our crypto and not the only reason we need governance and lifecycle management. It just makes sense to be prepared!

Not sure if we can say quantum is 'the only' risk to crypto based technologies. Otherwise all good points!
