I am attempting to sign up to take the CC exam, I took the A+ and Network+ with Comptia and used Pearson Vue. I did not know that you can only use one certification provider with Pearson Vue. I am assuming that if you already used Pearson vue you can't take any ISC2 exams. If not how do you fix the issue? Pearson Vue no longer allows users to directly log on unless going through a certification provider. I can log on if I go through CompTia but I cannot find a ISC2 exam to schedule.
@madortchjr Thank you for reaching out via the Community board.
Candidates will need a separate account for each certification organization that uses Pearson VUE to administer its exams.
To access your Pearson VUE dashboard for ISC2, you will first log in to your ISC2 account and, in the upper right corner of the webpage, choose Register for Exam. Follow the instructions on the webpage.
I will send you a private message.
I have similar problem, trying to register for free CC exam I got the following error:
"User already exist in Pearson with similar email address"
How do i register ?
Thanks.
Same problem here.
It looks the issue was reported back in 2019 but here we are.

Thank you for reaching out via ISC2 Community board. Candidates will need a separate account with Pearson VUE for each certification organization (ISACA, CompTIA, etc).
ISC2 candidates may have only one account and primary email address for ISC2.
If someone has the same email address in our ISC2 system, they will get the error message User already exist in Pearson with similar email address error.
Anyone who experiences this should send an email to membersupport@isc2.org so we can assist
Same problem here, I'm not able to register for exam...
Could somebody help me with this please?
Thank you.
Try changing your email address registered with ISC2 from (for example) nickrx@gmail.com to nickrx+isc2@gmail.com . "Plus addressing" is supported by most email providers. This will create a unique email address just for ISC2 that works around this problem, but still delivers to the same gmail box. And bonus, it also allows you easily filter your incoming mail that came from ISC2 or any of their partners with whom they share your email.
Thank you for the answer. I cannot change my email in the ISC2 profile, I'm asked to contact Member Services to do that... There is no option to change my email in the Registration form (for the exam). Is there any other option or I'm doing something wrong?
