Hello,
I have encountered frustrating issue with the scheduling of my CISSP exam. I had originally booked my exam for October 17, 2025, but just two days ago, I received an email informing me that the exam had been canceled and that I would need to re-book. This is the second time this has happened with an ISC2 exam in the past couple of months.
As you can imagine, this is incredibly frustrating. I have put in a great deal of effort and time to prepare for the exam, keeping the target date in mind. When the exam gets canceled repeatedly, it is very demotivating and disheartening.
I reached out to Pearson support, and they mentioned that the test center was not available to conduct the exam on the scheduled date. This raises the question: why was the exam booked in the first place if the test center was not available? I requested an escalation of the issue, but the support representative put me on hold for about ten minutes before the IVR system transferred me to a random recording and eventually disconnected.
I would like to know if ISC2 takes any action against these test centers and if there are any penalties for such repeated cancellations. Additionally, is ISC2 aware of these issues and what measures are being taken to assist test takers in such situations?
