Error when purchasing CISSP exam, Money deducted from account

Hi,

I recently purchased exam for CISSP, During check out I got an error that it was not processed but money was deducted from my account.
Has any one experienced this issue, how long it takes for money to reflect back in your account. I was really hoping to book exam ASAP.

Any ideas what can I do to not go through this issue again, I would rather want to prepare for my exam than go back and forth with support (All I hear is hold music and my call gets disconnected)

Regards,

Harmeet Singh

Thank you for contacting the ISC2 Community Board.

What is happening is that purchasers are seeing the preauthorization that is being done by Stripe prior to full purchase completion. If the purchase is never completed (for whatever reason), that charge will fall off in a few days as we never post from our side.

Hi,

I have now attempted to book the exam twice, and both times I encountered an error stating that the transaction could not be completed. I regularly use this card for larger transactions and have never experienced any issues.

It is very important for me to take this exam by the end of this month. Each time I attempt to book, an amount of $1,400 is placed on hold for a week, which is a significant amount for me. I have already tried using a different computer, different browsers, and even a different card, but the issue persists.

I kindly request that you review and resolve the issue with the payment gateway.I look forward to your prompt support.

Please let me know if there is an alternate way to book exam

This time I made a second account which is not at all linked to this and still had same issue
