[Sigh] [once again ...]
OK, look. The exam is based on a thorough understanding of the basic
*principles* of information security. Some specific and detailed content is also
tested, but those who are freaking out over whether the latest course, book, or set
of sample questions are "in full alignment" with the latest version of the CBK are
very much in danger of "majoring on the minors." Yes, the CBK is reviewed
every year, to make sure that, over time, it isn't accumulating irrelevant stuff, and
to make sure that any really significant developments (which almost never
happen) do get included.
I've just done a full review of my *own* seminar materials. In the process, I went
back and compared the materials with content and CBKs going back twenty years
and more. Know what? There just isn't that much that changes, since the
fundamentals don't change over time. Concentrate on those basics. The latest
blockchain implementation is just not going to be an issue.
