Below are three resources I referrred to while preparing for the exam:

1. CISSP video by SKILLSET (Free on Youtube)
2. Cybrary.it CISSP video by Kelly Handerhan (Free Registration)
3. Official (ISC) Guide to CISSP CBK

In addition, I practiced all the questions on the Official Guide.

I don’t think not having info sec experience is a barrier. You might just require to give it more time. The videos were very helpful. Both videos give you tips to note for the exams. I advice you pause and make notes.

Just allow enough time for the videos. Am sure you will make this time around.

 Thanks for the response. Frankly, great to hear you have followed materials already I have. 

Tell me please, did you face the new exam materials or it is the same?. I was in hurry to do the exam before April 15, 2018, fairly the materials will change.

Request you to share the details of materials / resources which helped you crack the CISSP. I have pretty much been relying on the CISSP Official Study Guide and a couple of other guides which were available on Amazon.
