@Dissmid You may find that people with ISC2 interests are maybe more theory than hands on in interests. I was a business developer for years but definitely never had any interest in CTF, bug bounties, etc. when got into the field. A lot of people get attracted to cybersecurity because of the "cool" stuff like pentesting and ethical hacking. Unfortunately these are not profit centers, and there are very few people employed as such except for companies that sell those services, and they will want experience. You will be fine as long as you realize that this is not how to make money for a living in the field. There are plenty of other skillsets needed. You might see if there is a local active OWASP chapter as that is the organization that is most closely aligned with what you are showing an interest in and will know the local job climate.
