I Passed the CC Exam

Hi everyone, I am excited to announce that I wrote and passed the CC exam today. I used the online self-paced training materials. I equally studied with other materials from the web. With a background in Theology, a perplexing fascination with the wonders of the internet, and a motivation to help keep systems and networks (and by extension, the world) safe, I embraced the call for the CC certification. May my success at the exam be an encouragement to others who, like me, are coming to Cybersecurity with zero experience in the field. Indeed, with passion and determination, we can all make it.

Is the online self placed training enough to pass the exam. I have scheduled for 25th. If you can share apart from online self placed what all needed to secure 100% pass.

Can you guide on what all is enough for the preparation?

Hi @vipinnautiyal01 for all ISC2 exams, we recommend starting with the exam outline. It's the blueprint for what the exam questions (aka items) are built from.

The CC exam outline is here in web form with a link to download a PDF as well: https://www.isc2.org/certifications/cc/cc-certification-exam-outline

I would also highly recommend the online self-paced training (free if you sign up as an ISC2 Candidate) to use as preparation and a guage for how well you know the particular domains of the credential. We have an eTextbook you can purchase for additional preparation efforts, and I've heard great things from folks who have done the LinkedIn learning course for the certification.
