I am very new to cybersecurity path.

I am from pure IP Networking background with 16+ years of experience.

Am I valid to for CISSP certification ?

in one video, ISC2 saying if you dont have any previous security experience then you should do Associate cert which fullfills your prerequisites for CISSP.   Is it true? did I understood correctly ?

so what is the first step for studying associate exam ?  what resource i should follow or read ?

CC means associate level exam only ?
