Advise on what material to use

Greetings Everyone,

I am currently pursing my CC certification and would like to know what study materials everyone is using to be successful, I am considering purchasing the CC exam prep ebook from ICS2 is there any other resources that were helpful

I participated in the pilot when ISC2 asked for volunteers. I already had my CISSP and several others. I wanted to help develop the exam and be able to speak about it intelligently with others. I did buy and read the eTextbook later when it was released. I don’t think that it will help a lot. ISC2 does have recommended references on their site for further study. There are now books out there , and both Luke and Thor have training for it. Make sure that you know what is in the exam objectives (ISC2 calls it an exam outline). Use it for knowledge gap analysis. Best wishes.

Okay, I have also purchased the Ebook, and taking the Udemy course from Thor so looks like I am on the right track.... Thank you again for the feedback

Welcome, I did not think that the eTextbook had a lot in it but at least was not expensive.  Thor's materials should be very helpful in passing.  Do not get frustrated if something sounds unfamiliar on the exam.  Those beta/pre-test questions may be things that never exposed to before.  Also remember that it is what I call one and done on questions; you cannot go back; so just answer the best that you can and take your time on each question.  Best wishes.

well i dont think you are going to need to buy anything , just search you will find poeple posted thier study material (github), and there is free videos on youtube and linkedin learnig (practice exams), and for simplifying the concepts that might seem a bit complex you can use 'chatgpt' to explain them, or search for videos specific for that concept to get more in-depth understading. and you'll be good. wish you luck
