Who took the CC (Certified in Cybersecurity) certification exam? What did you think about the difficulty level? Did you pass the first exam?
Its really a mid range hard and I definitely not consider it easy as this requires knowledge and understanding of the different terms and what topic you are dealing with.
This exam is not overly challenging, you must have a solid grasp of concepts across five key domains: Security Principles, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery, Access Control Concepts, Network Security, and Security Operations. The great news is that ISC2 provides all the necessary study materials, making it easier to prepare and pass the exam on your first attempt.
I would underscore that the free video training that comes with it is insufficient for a person true entry level knowledge. The in-ISC2 certificate test (the one you take during the video course) is nothing like the actual test.
Anyone might get get a better feel for it browsing the isc2 sub-reddit a searching out old threads that talk about it. It is not "hard" for someone in the space, per se, experienced with security concepts, but taking it cold with no background or skills? challenging imho.
@BrawnyOrBounty I agree, and I also want to point out that some of the wording and phrasing of the questions are not tricky but confusing. I took the time(watching closely not to waste more than a minute per question) to read carefully what was asked for. Even some words were repeated twice as if the exam had not been proofread before posting it. For anybody taking the exam, the free training and content offered by ISC2 is more than enough to pass, but learn it well, and go over it twice if needed to internalize the concepts. Good luck to all.
