Could someone please direct me to the location where I can obtain a digital copy of the CC certificate?
https://www.isc2.org/candidate discusses the process of becoming a candidate and maintaining candidate status. The $50 annual fee for candidates is waived the first year.
Having passed the CC exam, you are now on your way to becoming a certified member. Being a certified member requires paying the $50 CC annual maintenance fee for members. https://www.isc2.org/landing/1mcc describes this process.
ISC2 does have a policy that if one upgrades to a more expensive certification, one only needs to pay the difference between what they previously paid and the new rate. If you truly already paid $50 as a candidate, you might reach out to member support, asking for a credit equal to your previous payment. But, if the candidate fee was waived, you would be asking for a $0 credit, which seems pointless.
I have to pay for next year's (2026 - 2027) AMF to access my certificate that is already valid for 2025 - 2026?
You do not have a certification yet. Certification has four prerequisites. of which you have completed one or maybe two:
Once completed, a 3-year certification is issued, but will be revoked if one fails to pay their AMF.
@nkeaton and @denbesten Thanks for the info, I really appreciate that. I accepted that I have to pay now but as you can see in the image below, it states that I'm paying for the period 2026 - 2027 so that's where I'm confused at.
@Abhinav169 That may be correct and thank you for sharing what you see. When I earned my first ISC2 certification, we had to pay our AMF by the end of the continuing education year. Ours started when our certificate for the certification was awarded, always the first of the next month after processing. I passed the exam in December 2012. They finished processing my endorsement in January 2013; so my certificate showed February 1, 2013, and my AMF was due by January 31, 2014. The change happened in 2019 on AMF payments and had to pay at the beginning to become certified. So I am not sure if the date on yours reflects a change on when the AMF clock starts or not but seems a reasonable guess. Yes, all of that detail to say am not sure. I would love to know if anyone else can tell me how theirs worked on their first certification since mine was different.
