Hey guys,
I was hoping somebody could review my resume and tell me if I satisfy the five years required to take the CISSP. I fell like I do, but the Cyber threat intelligence position I had was not paid and I'm currently a Senior that will be graduating late this year. Here is my resume:

Hi Joseph
I had a look and I'd say you are a ways off. Caveat, this is in-principle based on the document.
Your BA will count for a year.
Your last job looks admissable, but I won't sugar coat this, the majority experience as a technician, part-time or as an intern.
Technicians don't generally make cybersecurity decisions, design systems, carry responsibility for risk etc. Interns are not considered full time paid, nor is part-time. If your role had a 75% full-time security component then you could well argue it was admissible, but as it is I don't think so.
Don't be disheartened, by all means, ask for a second opinion and take the exam and gain associate, you'd then be able to get a fulltime security role that would count towards this.
As a source, CISSP requires paid full-time work experience:
https://www.isc2.org/Certifications/CISSP
At least five years of cumulative paid full-time work experience in two or more of the eight domains of the CISSP CBK.
Now, SSCP does count internships and might be a good place to start:

Best of luck going forward and please do take the test if you are ready, gaining associate of ISC2 will probably help you land the job you need to gain the experience you need. At the very least you can come in the great CAT debate, and either confirm it's still quite difficult, or it's super easy and a young fellow can pass it straight out of university.
