CISSP Endorsement Wait

Hello all!

For those waiting on your CISSP Endorsement Review approval from ISC2, the wait will continue.  It has been over 6 weeks since my endorsement was submitted and I just received the following:

"Typically, the endorsement review process runs around 4-6 weeks; however, due to a system upgrade, we are currently running closer to 8 weeks. This could be done sooner than the 8 weeks, we just ask to allow the full time for review."

So it looks like we are all in for longer wait times post endorsement.

Happy Waiting!!

Based on the comments, you should be contacting member support. membersupport@isc2.org or 1.866.331.4722.

Good Luck.

I have previously emailed ISC but received nothing back from them - not even an acknowledgement of the email.

I had previously called too, was on hold for a couple of minutes, but I hung up without leaving a message.

I have just tried calling again. After another couple of minutes on hold I left a message this time asking them to get in touch.

In the meantime I suppose is it back to waiting for me... 😉

Congratulations! You now qualify for the "longest wait to get endorsed" badge!

(Oh, by the way: you may have to wait a while before you get it ...)

I'm curious to know how you are sure that all endorsements go into the same queue...where did you find this information?

@datcomputerdute

Relax. It's all the same queue.

haha sorry but that's not how it works...I dont think anyone would feel comfortable saying "Yes they all go into the same queue, this guy named Martin from a ISC2 thread said so". @amandavanceISC2 care to throw some helpful input into this question? Do all certification endorsements go into the same queue?

I'm currently going through the endorsement process for the third time (CISSP, CCSP and now ISSEP). Various interactions I've had with ISC2 staff and other members in relation to the endorsement process (or more specifically delays in the process) have led me (and others) to the understanding there is a single queue.

The only written reference I can link by someone official is in this post by @SamanthaO_isc2:

@datcomputerdude To confirm, there is only one queue that all endorsements go into. The endorsements are processed in the order in which they were received.
