I dream about a safer world. A world where cyber attacks are no longer a threat.
An accidental virus infection following a 16-bit PC game copied via a 1.44 MB floppy disc, introduced this innocent 12 year old to the concept of AntiVirus.
Today, more than 20 years later my resume consists of formal certifications such as CISSP and CISO, 9 years of service at various technological and management positions in a leading cybersecurity vendor, RSA.
From malware analyst, to security researcher, team leader and finally cybercrime and advanced threats research lab manager during the last 4 years of service.
Personally analyzing, guiding and overseeing the research of thousands of unique malware samples for the last decade, I can testify that while malware authors completed a major leap forward, AntiVirus vendors have never adapted to the new era, keeping the same preventive mindset, that although could easily prevent my 80486 MS-DOS OS based PC from virus infection two decades ago, is practically useless today.
Guided by a mission to eradicate cybercrime, armed with years of theoretical knowledge, hands-on experience, unique problem solving approach and allergy for injustice and low-life cybercriminals, I decided to co-found Narya Security.
I believe that the most challenging cybersecurity threats can be solved with automated remediation solutions, our goal at Narya Security is becoming the leader in this field within the following 5 years.
