I am interested in becoming an ISC2 instructor. I am unable to find any information on the site regarding what the process is to become an instructor. Can you some advise me on how to get started. Thanks
Navigate to Contact > Training either through this Community site or ISC2's main website.
Or click this direct link:
https://www.isc2.org/Contact-Us#accordion-96a290048c69416ab3ad87f6c87f8952
From there you can find details on who to contact to kick off the process to become an authorised training provider.
Sir
This is one of the best replies to the question of what it takes to be an Instructor that I have seen in a long time.
Well said and thank you for being so blunt, frank, and real.

I submitted my resume via the membership email on the contact page for becoming an instructor and they have no idea why they are listed as the point of contact... So who knows if I'll ever even get to start the process.
I have 15 years of experience in RMF so I'm not worries about knowledge/experience. My question is them watching me teach. Do they provide me with a class of students or am I teaching to the evaluators? Is it really 40 hours of teaching that they watch?
I guess the best for you is the send your enquiry that to the local ISC2 representatives and they will direct you to the right person/contact to see how is the onboarding / certification process.
Before I left Hong Kong a couple of month ago, I was contacted to see I could be a trainer to teach CSSLP, so I was just start a little bit on the process but due to the fact I am leaving Hong Kong, I did not proceed forward and did not go through the whole process.
