It's my Experience and my Certification.that's Expired. One may think the 'E' standards for 'Expert'
Feedback is welcome
My educated guess is no, that usage is not appropriate. (ISC)2 is pretty hard over on only using "CISSP" while we are currently certified. However, we need an official (ISC)2 staff response, for instance, from @Kaity
Note this statement:
"Use of the CISSP, CAP, ISSAP, ISSEP, ISSMP, SSCP marks and logos is authorized for certified individuals ONLY and strictly governed by the official (ISC)² Logo Usage Guidelines. Download the Logo Usage Guidelines for more information."
found on the (ISC)2 Copyright Information page.
Also, note that some of us claim that holding a CISSP is not necessary indicative of expert status on particular topic. Our expertise usually comes from experience and education within one or more of the CBK domains. The three CISSP Concentrations, however, each do indicate a level of expertise in their areas of Engineering, Architecture, or Management.
Hello @degrapm! I spoke with our legal team and I can confirm that yes, using “CISSP35500E” would technically violate the (ISC)² copyright, specifically:
Certified may not combine the Logo with any other object, including, but not limited to, other logos, icons, words, graphics, photos, slogans, numbers, design features, symbols, or Website audio files. (i.e. Mixing another Logo with the CISSP Logo to create a variation)
We do have a retired designation that you can apply for, but nothing to indicate “expired” as at that point, your CISSP certification is not valid. I hope this is helpful. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to legal@isc2.org

Wonder how long you will be able to keep your C155P badge? We all know how much you love badges.

If you replace the word `Canada' in `Blame Canada' with
`Javascript,' it works way better than it should.
