Features of transparent encryption

I am studying for the CCSP exam. Please let me confirm my understanding of transparent cryptography. Is my understanding of the following correct?

1. The advantage of transparent encryption is that the user does not need to be aware of or manipulate the data to encrypt or decrypt it.
2. Only authorized users can read those encrypted data even if they have access to it.
3. If a user's credentials are stolen and spoofed, the confidentiality of the data protected by transparent encryption cannot be protected.
