I've never been a fan of the whole 'Droid ecosystem-HW, SW, whatever-ware. When I was developing a platform for the Navy to use for CAC verification 'Droid OS was always having issues with security. I attempted to be as vendor agnostic as I could but that OS kept causing our team lots of trouble.
It's no different now.
Best platform that passed security reviews you ask? LOL Microsoft's Mobile OS. As strange as it seems, the majority install base of MS product users did not carry over into the mobile platform.
