76 years ago today, Claude Shannon - mathematician, electrical engineer, and cryptographer - and "the father of information theory" published "A Mathematical Theory of Communication". It is one of the most cited papers of all time in computer science, and has been cited over 154,000 times. A top researcher might be cited over 10,000 times in their whole lifetime.
Very well worth reading and add to your CPE's too.
