SSCP Exam

I am hoping to take the exam at the end of this year. If there are any tips, they are most certainly welcomed.

@MYC The SSCP is a really good certification. If you have not done the CC first, I highly suggest it. Make sure that you know the exam objectives (ISC2 calls it an exam outline). I would suggest the Sybex book as it is the official one. There are additional resources on the ISC2 site if feel that need them.

I have the CC certification. Currently studying for the SSCP Exam which I plan to take in the end of the year.

@MYC That is good. The CC is a great first step, and the SSCP is a great second one. You have proven that you grasp the general knowledge with the CC. Congratulations. You answered the CC from an entry level perspective; for the SSCP you will answer from a security professional perspective. The point of view gets more important when get to the CISSP where have to answer from a manager’s. Best wishes.
