Migrating Hosts for Privacy & Policy

On a personal note, in order to improve privacy control for my own purposes, as well as impact of cancel culture hosting, I am migrating primary internet hosting in several areas.

About two years ago I moved my primary e-mail service from Google-owned Gmail to Apple's iCloud.

Now I am in the process of moving my personal blog from Google-owned Blogger to Wordpress, and my preferred video host from Google-owned YouTube to Rumble.

For several reasons (Chromebook use, University G-Suite accounts), I have a Hotel California relationship with Google, so I am not able (for now) to totally close any of my Google account services. I may eventually be able to close my Blogger sites, but it looks like the other services will remain active.

I am in the process of dropping my gmail account as well for CTemplar. Basically, sending a very strong message about privacy and that I am willing to eat my own privacy and security dog food.
