As of January 2019, this standard is now available during a comment and review process (DIS). Voting is open on the current version until March 2019. You can expect the document to address the manner in which privacy management is used to extend an ISMS (ISO 27001:2013 and ISO 27002:2013), and expect alignment to ISO 29100:2011 - Privacy Framework. 

It is not clear at the moment how the document may overlap with ISO 27018:2019 - Code of Practice for Protection of Personally Identifiable Information (PII) in Public Clouds Acting as PII Processors, given that the update to ISO 27018 was just released in January 2019.
