Big tech is not afraid of fines! It is the cost of doing business. Send them to jail if you want something to change. That's my mantra.

Big tech (or big anything else, for that matter) is not afraid of jails. They'll just
wait for privatization, buy up the jails, and manage them.

@rslade @AppDefects I think I liken this to the episode of Star Trek, where when the population were sent to the lifts for incineration, to represent the number of casualties in an endless war..  

 

If I remember correctly it was "
