I hold two credentials: CISSP and CCSP.
CISSP current period 1-Oct-2022 through 30-Sep-2025; current CPE count 120.
CCSP current period 1-Dec-2022 through 30-Nov-2025; current CPE count 90.
Not registered yet, should 'emerge' first week of July: 4 Insight quizzes (8 CPEs in total).
Dashboard shows 0 CPEs for both CISSP and CCSP, as it is showing me the future period (ending in 2028).
When I try to add 8 CPEs for obtaining my CISM exam on June 6th, "computer says no".
I'm not allowed to select a date before December 1st:
This must be related to the future period for my CCSP credential (which shows first in the list: CCSP before CISSP):
I have raised another issue about a week ago.
My dashboard showed me the current CPE status for both credentials (CISSP 120, CCSP 90). I then decided to pay my annual membership fee (too soon, due date was October 1st).
The dashboard immediately switched to the future period, while for my CISSP credential the certification period was changed as well (01-Jul-2025 through 30-Jun-2028). Incorrect, and after some messages going back and forth, this issue is now solved.
This current issue as well as the annual membership fee payment issue tells me something systemic is wrong. Seems that several "if-then-else" scenarios have not been fully and properly tested.
I want the 8 CPEs for the 4 Insight magazines to be added to the current period, as well as the 8 CPEs for obtaining the CISM exam. That gives me 16 roll-over CPEs for both credentials at the start day of the future periods.
I'd like the dashboard to show me the current period, not the future one, even if I have more than the required CPEs. That tells me I have roll-over CPEs which allow me the obtain less in the future period (if I want to, you never know what happens in life).
And finally, why not change the certification periods related to CPEs as ISACA does? They have periods starting at Jan 1st of any given year. Obtaining a certification during the year gives you (once) an extended period to obtain CPEs. For me, passing the exam on June 6th and obtaining the certification (any day now) will have my first CPE period go from 01-Jan-2026 through 31-Dec-2029. The months in 2025 allow for a 'longer first year'.
Note: I raised a query through the form on the contact page about not being able to add CPEs with a date before December 1st (which technically also prevents me from raising CPEs in October and November, the first two months of my new CISSP credential).

Hi Maria -I was contacted about the previous issue yesterday (incorrect certification period). The issue not being able to upload CPEs is a new issue.
@mariatirado
Thanks for reaching out, Maria.
I'm in contact with an agent in the Customer Support department. Mu issue has been transferred to the CPE team for comment and guidance, which may take up to 10 working days (as said on Thu 3rd of July). I'll be patient 😁
This seems to be a bug. I too and a couple of others are seeing the same problem!
