I'm enrolled in a class that requires I take the CC exam this month. Over the past week, I have tried to schedule the exam and the cart kept giving me an error. I tried to get help through chat and phone for that and got nowhere. Why even list those comm options if you're going to tell people to email you? Anyway, because I couldn't get ahold of anybody, I created a new account to see if I could register for the test under a different account. It allowed me.
I went to change my email address to my school address, and now I'm getting an Access Denied error whenever I try to log in. I FINALLY got a hold of someone on the phone, and now I have to wait 3-5 business days more to have my accounts merged, which will likely cause me to miss my exam tomorrow and cause issues in my college scheduling.
Is this what you charge a maintenance fee for? Is this what you charge a huge amount of money for training and testing for? This is RIDICULOUS! I wouldn't be this upset if it wasn't because ISC2 is supposed to be a highly regarded Info Tech institution that should be aware that this is in violation of the Availability tenant of the CIA triad. This is putting at risk your finances and ours, and our ability to fulfill professional and academic obligations. I would not be this upset too if the issue were addressed with the urgency it requires. It doesn't seem like anyone cares to fix the issues and keep us, your members, informed and well-supported.
