I completed a PDI course, how do i get my CPEs?

Hi.

I successfully completed a PDI course and received a certificate. how do i get my CPEs? Do I need to submit the certificate or will the CPEs automatically be added to me?

Thanks!

Unless it is something offered or sponsored by (ISC)², you normally will need to file them yourself.

If unsure, you can wait a week or so to see if they show up, or you can add them immediately and delete them later if they get duplicated.

The PDI is ISC2's Professional Development Institute:

However, certainly for the courses I have completed of theirs, you are advised 1) at the start, 2) at the end, 3) during the course evaluation, and 4) in the final confirmation email, that you need to submit the CPEs yourself!

Follow the steps in this post if you need assistance in manually adding the CPEs:

Thanks! the reference in your reply was very helpful.

In addition, I received the Course Completion Email from ISC2 a few hours later then the time I actually completed the course. In this email they instructed to manually report the CPEs (and mentioned they will NOT be reported automatically). I didn't know that before receiving the email. This has answered my question completely.

Thank you all for the help!
