Hi and happy new year!
I provisionally passed CISSP in December and submitted the endorsement application. I chose ISC(2) as my endorser and have provided evidence for my employment and listed my experience in the application. I also passed CC in November (sat it as prep for the hard exam), I have paid my membership fees for that and I am currently a member of ISC(2).
I am currently wanting to change job and I want to apply for jobs that either list CISSP as an advantage, or the willingness to sit for CISSP within a certain amount of time after beginning employment.
I like to do everything by the book. Can I mention the below in my cover letter (NOT my resume/CV) when applying to jobs:
"I have provisionally passed the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) exam and I am currently undergoing endorsement, which needs to be complete before full CISSP status is awarded". If not this, is there any wording that I can use to not break any ISC(2) rules in place?
I know this question is probably asked ad nauseam but I didn't see a recent topic and I would like some guidance. Many thanks in advance.
