Hello! I have tried for several weeks now to get some sort of assistance with my digital (PDF) certificates and having them corrected. I recently passed the SSCP and wanted to get it printed (along with my CC cert) at the local FedEx, but to my chagrin, they are both a digital mess. I'm not sure if it's the application ISC2 is using or what, but (4) of us tried to rework these abominations in several different photoshop type of programs to no avail. The even sadder part is that I've called "member support" several times and emailed this same completely carefree team of individuals nearly (10) times and still, nothing. When I spoke to a couple of different individuals via the phone, both were as apathetic and argumentative as one could be with absolutely no concern for anything I had to say. Any time I mention escalation or even just providing me a "managers" number, it's met with the impossibility of such an outcome. At this point, I don't think I'll be going for my CISSP because I really don't feel like this organization is more than a curtain with nothing behind it. Are there actual U.S. based leadership representatives? After they successfully produced the gold standard cert if CyberSec, did they just all take off but still receive residuals? It seems as if there's no foundation, just a loosely floating 'consortium' that has no actual grounding, support, management, or leadership. As mentioned to the careless representatives I spoke with; we put a TON of time and money into these certifications. It's absolutely imperative that someone actually helps the customer base that keeps this whole thing standing (but really floating) and something needs to be done about this. I hear and read similar complaints all of the time. Please, anyone with any ability to help, take a look at these garbage certification print outs and escalate this to someone with the capability to make corrections. It's abundantly clear to anyone with sight that the following applies: Green brackets delineating border corners do not fill or meet the actual image borders; The green brackets are of variable thickness when comparing the two certs (look to top right and top left); There is no border lining from end to end, side to side; etc etc etc. PLEASE HELP.
Hello @campbellvt
I am so sorry to hear about the frustrating experiences you've had with both your digital certificates and our support team. I can confirm that the team has documented your communications with us and is investigating the issue. I have also escalated this to the managers of the support team (both in the U.S. and U.K.), and to our Creative Director, for assistance with the printability of the digital certificates in your account.
As a reminder, for earning the SSCP certification, you will receive a welcome kit in the mail, which will include a printed copy of your certificate.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention and we look forward to getting you a solution as soon as possible. Thank you, also, for your membership and congratulations on your certification accomplishments!
Thank you Kaity, I really appreciate it. I'll stand by for your response. Please let me know if you'd be willing to share any contacts you may have, privately of course, so I can keep on this. It's been a couple of weeks already.
And yes, I've been made aware that months from now I'll receive that packet, however that does me no good when the both certs are a mess, not just the one and I need to send these to prospective employers and schools (some don't accept Credly badges quite yet) and these are an embarrassment. I've already been called out once for 'doing a poor job photoshopping my ISC2 certifications'!
Dear Friend,
You're right. I'm in the same boat. However, my experience is somewhat related to CPE Updates on the (ISC)2 portal, as they are not reflected after many weeks. So, I had to login onto member portal & update the earned CPEs manually.
Please Note: I feel that earned CPEs from brighttalk don't get reflected automatically into (ISC)2 CPE.
I contacted the membersupport@isc2.org mail id several times however their response wasn't prompt & had delays in Email.
My suggestion:
Along with above mail id, please send an email to,
infoisc2-j@isc2.org
mhirai@isc2.org (Misaki Hirai, Japan)
kseon@isc2.org - (Kayla Seon) - You get an immediate response from this mail id. This is what my experience says.
