So Ive just got my CC cert (super proud) and am wondering which options i have. Ive been in IT support for around 15 years and i think the natural progression is to specialize. Do i simply look for part time SOC work or internship? Do i opt for a remote position? My concern is, who do i learn from remotely? Surely the best foot forward is to be brushing shoulders with people well versed in the industry. This way learning from the best to become the best. I'm currently studying for my CYSA+ cert and shortly after my ISC2 SSCP. Now while all these certs are great, i believe real world work experience is better. I'm just not sure where to start in getting this real world experience with zero experience.
