CISSP endorsement - What is the content of the email sent to the supervisor?

Hello ISC2 community,

As part of the CISSP endorsement process, I understand that an email is sent to the supervisor/manager of the candidate for verification purposes.

I would like to know:

1- What type of information (about the candidate) is going to be shared with the supervisor/manager?

2- Will the supervisor be informed of the date of the candidate's exam?

3- What type of questions are going to be asked from the supervisor?

Sounds like you will be asked to be an endorser. As an endorser, you will receive an email with a link to gain access to the candidates application. The exam date will not be visible; however, you will see notes, uploaded documents and job history the candidate supplied in the application. You will be asked to review the information regarding job history/ job duties. Please contact programs@isc2.org if you have further endorsement questions.
