Authentication?

OK, I'm having a weird message on another screen, trying to create a message, and I haven't even posted it yet, but I'm being told authentication has failed ...

Could the fact that I've been working on the posting for over two hours have a bearing?

(That wouldn't be good for those who wanted to take care and be thoughtful in their posting ...)

OK, it lost a little bit, but, since I was porting it in pieces to email where I was going to send it elsewhere, I managed to recover it all (I hope), and it let me post it.

Happens to me all the time. It appears to be a session timer when editing a post.  My workaround:

1. Select All (Ctl-A)
2. Copy (Ctl-C)
3. Refresh the page (Ctl-R)
4. click "discard saved content"
5. Paste (Ctl-V)

You can alternately refresh the page and click "load saved content", but I have found that does not always bring it perfectly up-to-date.

Yeah, "Load" definitely messed up.  I did go back and re-edit it today.

I found another workaround, which I mention in the re-URLing posting.
