Annual Maintainence Fee

I wrote my SSCP exam on June 11 2020, my endorsement step is done and I’ve been asked to pay the fee of 125$. How long do I have to pay the fee. Is there a time limit?

My idea would be to hang a few of the offenders. This would not
only get rid of some but would discourage the development of
others. It would be a saving of lives to do it.

Ajith,

You will not be actually certified until you pay the fee. If there is a time limit for you to pay it before your exam and endorsement expire, I do not know. We need @AndreaMoore or @tonyshiver to answer that question.

As for the evil laugh from Grandpa Rob @rslade he is referring to the fact you will have to pay it at the beginning of each year you wish to keep your certification valid.

Congrats, by the way. Good work.

Re: Annual Maintainence Fee

Hi Cragin,

Thanks for the prompt reply. Like you have mentioned, I wanted to know the time frame before my 1st AMF. Like maximum of a months time after the endorsement or something ??

Ajith,

I believe they allow 90 days for you to pay but the best folks to answer this would be @AndreaMoore or @tonyshiver or member support .

Q: How can I become a member?

A: There are three steps to becoming a member of (ISC)². First, you must take and pass one of the six credential examinations. Then, you must submit an endorsement application to prove that you have the years of experience that are required to hold the credential. Once your endorsement is approved, you must pay the Annual Maintenance Fee (AMF).

Endorsement Time Limit

All candidates who pass an (ISC)² credential examination must complete the endorsement process within a time period of no longer than nine (9) months.

++++

Considering paying the AMF is now the final part of the endorsement process, I think you could argue you get the remainder of the 9 months to pay.

Re: Annual Maintainence Fee

@AjithKumar

There isn't really a time limit by which your first AMF must be paid.  The only limitation is that after one year, you will not be able to pay your AMF online.

After one year, you would need to call Member Services so that a Customer Service Coordinator could enter your payment information manually.

Hope this helps!
