With more than 1300 members spanning the Middle East and North Africa, WiCSME is proud to invite you to attend the 2nd WiCSME2021 Conference on November 29-30, 2021 with the theme “Toward a Resilient and Empowered Future”. The event will be led by expert speakers, including women who lead cybersecurity in the Middle East, as well as international women leaders and experts. All sessions will be available online. However, in adapting to the “new norm”, this conference is brought to you in a hybrid mode. On the second day of the conference, November 30th, some of the sessions that are conducted under "She Talks Security" will be conducted in person in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia at the Riyadh Front Expo Center in partnership with the @Hack conference. The aim of the WiCSME2021 conference is to bring the women in the field of cybersecurity in the Middle East region and from around the world to the forefront of the international stage by creating a robust platform for empowering these women and connect them with international and regional thought leaders and peers, thus helping them achieve their professional goals.
The conference includes keynote speeches, panel discussions, technical and non-technical sessions, interactive workshops, covering common and critical topics in cybersecurity from diverse perspectives by speakers from the Middle East as well as internationally.
The conference will feature the WiCSME2021 Awards, recognizing and celebrating the distinguished and remarkable Middle East women in the field of cybersecurity, in several categories: Women Cyber Security Thought Leader, Woman Cyber Security Executive, Woman Cyber Security Consultant, Woman Cyber Security Rising Star, Woman Cyber Security Entrepreneur and Woman Cyber Security Hero. This year WiCSME have added a new category: Male Ally in Cybersecurity. The judges of these awards are both female and male, and are distinguished names locally, regionally and internationally.
The conference is preceded by the Capture the Flag competition (CTF) with hundreds of contestants. The CTF, which is sponsored by Hack The Box (HTB), will be held on 25th & 26th November. The winning teams will be announced on the 2nd day of the conference, 30th November 2021. Each participating team must include at least one woman. The competition is available to citizens and residents of the Middle East region only.

About WICSME: In 2018, nine women from the Middle East and North Africa region gathered together through a common goal and vision, which is to empower and support the role of women in the cybersecurity industry throughout the region and beyond through nine tracks of responsibilities, including communication, support, education and empowerment of women in cybersecurity and for all those interested in joining the field. WICSME engages more than 1300 active participants from 23 countries and various organizations around the world as well as 10 WiCSME affiliates in the Middle East.
