[Canada] has little reason to worry about illegal immigration.
Like the United States, it shares a long southern border with a
country suffering from high levels of crime, unemployment and

What? You *dare* make jokes about one of our national institutions? No more
Tim Hortons for you!

Grandpa Rob @rslade decreed, " No more Tim Hortons for you!"

Oh, no! now where will I get my poutine? Folks down here in the South not only do not serve it, they are unaware of its very existence!

Hmmm. Actually, semi-serious cultural/demographic query here: up here we can
get poutine at any fast-food place, including McDonalds, Burger King, and Dairy
Queen. Not so down there?

@rslade Grandpa Rob asked, "Hmmm. Actually, semi-serious cultural/demographic query here: up here we can get poutine at any fast-food place, including McDonalds, Burger King, and Dairy Queen. Not so down there?"

In the vast majority of USA, no one has ever heard of poutine; it is just not a thing. Apparently, in the states that border Canada, some folks know of it, but I don't think it is widely sold. All of my experience has been in the southern half of the country. I have never been in any food place that sells it.

I have been in only two Tim Horton's back before they pulled back a lot of places, one in Connecticut and one in Ohio. I do not recall seeing pouting on the menu even there.

Unfortunately I can't attend but will be there in spirit.

I'm in a work meeting at that time.

Stay safe and healthy everyone!

Nope but not a bad thought.  Not a lot of people understand their tires 😉
