Totally off topic - not Security related.

For those of us that travel extensively for gainful employment, I thought you might enjoy this article....it has nothing to do with security but ways that some airports are trying to foster our mental well being when stressed over flight delays, missed connections, etc.

I have had the pleasure of being the recipient of some puppy love when waiting for a delayed flight and found it refreshing and would like to thank the owners of these pets.  Fortunately, I am not afraid of dogs, but the airport in question also had a therapy cat.

I have also been able to canoodle with some of the dogs being used by the Border Patrol when they are off duty or explaining to my grandson what the pups do.

So for Monday a little lightheartedness.

It's Tuesday here, by the time the lightheartedness arrived.  However, where are the Newfoundlands?  But apart from therapy there could be a useful dual role here too - drug sniffing and early indicators that something is array too.

Oh, there are still some risks, though ...

@rsladeAnd the probability must be pretty low and rather rare too.   Yes, it is a risk, but this could happen with human contact - remember AIDS and the like etc.

If we become too PC, then our immunity systems will grow up over time, and make us more likely to cause problems, especially as antibiotics do not function as expected or our bodies reject them etc.

Hmmmmm,

I may very well raise this as a suggestion for our airport.

I recently had the pleasure of meeting the Aberdeen therapets in Scotland. Fun bunch!
