A team of students, from an online learning and practice platform, have built a machine learning algorithm that beats the record holder, previously from a team of Google researchers.
Which is nice, because it was beginning to look like only huge teams were able to make contributions in this space.
It's also interesting to look at the team's approach, which seems to indicate that teaching machines is a lot like teaching people: you have to plan it carefully.
