OK, maybe not strictly regulating cyber, but still. US Senators Tillis and Coons seem to be interested in messing with patent decisions. Up until now, patents have had to be devices that are a) useful, b) novel, and c) non-obvious. Tillis and Coons seem to want to open that up to anyone with enough money to keep filing patent applications.
As one who has had to fight a lot of patent trolls, I am not amused ...
