The Transportation Security Agency has a new program of following, and collecting information on, US citizens who are not suspected of a crime and are not on any watch list. Federal air marshals are used to conduct the surveillance, and say that the assignments are time-consuming, costly, and divert resources which may be needed elsewhere.
(The article mentions that a flight attendant was followed in one case. Number One Son-In-Law is a pilot. He recently told me that the pilots receive notification of all air marshals on the flight, which information they may or may not pass on to cabin crew. He said that the flight attendants always identify the air marshals before being told ...)
You can be targetted under Quiet skies if you fidget, use a computer, change directions while walking through the airport, observe the gate area before you get to it, or board last. (Last time I boarded last it was because of officious officials who had held me up ...)

Look no further than IIoT, IoT the walls, the lifts, your mobile etc etc is listening, collecting, gathering personal information, but who is on the receiving end? The insurance company, you physician or something more sinister?
Embrace technology, but think about the increasing complexities and the associated risks.
