(ISC)² has just released a new research report on Women in Cybersecurity. We changed up our survey method from the way we used to do the old Global Information Security Workforce Study and we ended up with an estimate of 24% as far as women in cyber. It's definitely an improvement over the old 11% number we used to find!
The report also found that there are more younger women in cyber - and that women in general are reaching leadership roles in higher percentages than men in the field.
