Every hot new tech or big story tends to spawn fakes dedicated to fraud. Apparently the same has happened with Libra.
So, if Facebook can't control fake Libra stories, even on Facebook, it has much less chance of convincing people Libra is a good idea. Currencies, crypto or otherwise, are all about trust.
