Location gets in your eyes ...

Look, I've told you that you can give away a lot more information about yourself than you are aware of, on social media.

This stalker zoomed in on the eyes of his victim's selfies, and, from the reflections, figured out where she lived.

Has anyone checked the EXIF data in those images? Maybe lat and long were already embedded?

It can be interesting pull embedded data from online images.

EXIF, etc, is sort of the easy way to do it. However, it can be lost when images
are processed. But these sorts of claculations can be done with pretty much any
images. For example, the Chinese have scrubbed location data in pictures of
detainees from the Uighur population. However, using similar image analysis, a
number of the have been pinpointed as to location.
